Quick Start Guide
Follow these steps to connect your X account, scrape your first leads, and launch an automated DM campaign.
Before You Start
- An active X (Twitter) account you want to automate
- Google Chrome browser installed
- Cookie Editor Chrome extension (we'll help you install it)
Create Your DMpro Account
Sign up for free in 30 seconds

You'll use this to log into your dashboard

Check your inbox and click the verification link
Connect Your X Account
Link your X account using cookies

Log into X (Twitter) in your browser
Make sure you're signed into the X account you want to automate

Export your cookies
While on x.com, click the Cookie Editor icon and select "Export" → "Export as JSON"

Paste cookies into DMpro
In your DMpro dashboard, go to "Accounts" → "Add Account" and paste your cookies
Why cookies?
Cookie-based authentication is secure and doesn't require your password. Your credentials are never shared with DMpro.
Scrape Your First Leads
Find targeted prospects to message

Go to "Searches" in your dashboard
This is where you'll find and scrape leads from X

Choose a source account
Enter the username of an influencer in your niche (e.g., a competitor or industry leader)

Select what to scrape
Choose "Followers" to get their audience, or "Engagers" to get people who interact with their content

Start the scrape
DMpro will automatically collect the leads and add them to your lead list
Launch Your Campaign
Send personalized DMs on autopilot

Create a new campaign
Go to "Campaigns" and click "New Campaign"

Select your lead list
Choose the leads you scraped in the previous step

Write your message
Use personalization variables to make each message unique:

Click "Start Campaign" and watch your DMs go out automatically with human-like delays

Personalize every message
Messages with {{firstName}} get 2x more replies than generic ones.
Start with warm leads
Scrape engagers (likers, commenters) for higher response rates.
A/B test your messages
Create 2-3 message variations to find what resonates best.
Respect the limits
DMpro sets safe limits automatically. Don't try to bypass them.
